Building up an inexpensive high resolution panoramic robot from LEGO NXT parts

Robot assembly:

Attach the shutter to the NXT controller
Connect the motor to the NXT controller
This is the panohead used for the robot: A Novoflex VR system with an additional panorama plate for easy tilting of the camera.
Head with pre-assembled panorama plates. Please note the small adapter srew. This screw will fit in the hole of our big disk and enable tightening of head and disk at once.
Panohead readily pre-assembled.
The NXT controller is attached by simply using some DIY gum.
The motor attached to the bottom of the panohead.
Robot readily mounted for use. The only thing left over is to attached the head on the tripod with the disk in between...
